Littlest Pet Shop (LPS) is a range of toys from the US brand Hasbro . So-called "little animals" are shown which can also serve as collector's items . The target group are little girls.
history
The toy series was first launched in 1992 under the Kenner label . The first generation of the figures were fairly naturalistic depictions of domestic animals and zoo animals, including accessories.
In 1995, a cartoon series was produced with Meine kleine Tierwelt .
In 2005, Hasbro reshaped the product line, with mostly anime- like animals with large posable heads and sometimes unrealistic colors.
In 2008 a computer game came on the market.
In 2012 the animated series Littlest Pet Shop - Animally good friends , started, which had over 100 episodes.
In 2018 the animated series Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own started in the USA.
