My Little Animal World (Original title: The Littlest Pet Shop) is an American cartoon series for children that was produced in 1995 . The series is based on the toys in the Littlest Pet Shop range .
Since November 10, 2012, a new edition of the series, which has the title Littlest Pet Shop - Animal Friends, has been broadcast.

The hobby inventor Elwood Harvey owns a pet shop in which mainly small animals live. For some unknown reason, these are even so small that they fit into little houses that he built on a skateboard. This shared apartment includes the stallion Arnold, the shepherd dog Bumbum, the little monkey Squeaks, the pink hare Marilyn, the hamster Blücher and the cat girl Chloe. Their only enemy is the hungry lizard Delilah, which tries to eat them.
Production and publication
The series was produced in the United States in 1995 by Sunbow Productions , Créativité & Développement, AB Productions and Tonka, directed by Xavier Picard and screenplayed by Jean Chalopin and marketed by Claster Television . This resulted in 40 double episodes. The music comes from Giacomo Cosenza.
The series was first broadcast from October 16 to December 8, 1995. The German premiere took place on April 6, 2000 on K-Toon . Further repetitions on German-language television also took place on the television channels Sat.1 and Junior . The series was also released on VHS .
