Liulihe site

The Liulihe-site ( Chinese  琉璃河遗址 , Pinyin Liulihe yízhǐ , English Liulihe site ) in the city subdistrict Liulihe , District Fangshan , Beijing , China , is a former capital of the state Yan from the Western Zhou Dynasty .

In 1973 several bronzes with the inscription "匽 (燕) 侯" ("Yan hou", ie "Margrave of Yan") were excavated there. After the tomb, the site is also called the tomb of the state of Yan ( 燕 国 墓地 , Yanguo mudi , English State of Yan Cemetery ).

It has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China in Beijing (3-201) since 1988 .
