Liv Ragnheim Arnesen (born June 1, 1953 in Bærum , Norway ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier and adventurer.

In 1994 she became the first woman to ski across the Antarctic to the South Pole , alone and without help . It took her fifty days to cover the 1200 kilometers.

In 2001 she crossed the Antarctic with Ann Bancroft (by sailing as well as by skiing). 2747 kilometers were covered in 94 days.
