Llangefni Town is a Welsh football club based in Llangefni , Anglesey . The club currently plays in the Welsh Alliance League Division One , the third highest division in Welsh.
history
The Llangefni Town Football Club was founded in 1897 and was one of the founding members of the Anglesey League , which is the fifth highest division in today's league system. From the club's early history to the late 1990s, Llangfeni Town won numerous championships and trophies in lower-class Welsh leagues. In the 2006/07 season, the club won the championship in the Cymru Alliance , one of two leagues at the second highest level, and thus promotion to the Welsh Premier League . In the Premier League debut, however, Llangefni Town failed and rose from bottom of the table after a year. In the 2009/10 season, the club was again champions of the second division, but received no license for the Welsh Premier League, which was also reduced to 12 teams. After the 2011/12 season, the club rose as the penultimate in the third-class Welsh Alliance League Division One , in which he is record champion with four championships.
