from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lo 150 "Burgfalke" is a further development of the Lo 100 glider aerobatic . At this point, the designer Alfred Vogt realized his idea of adding another wing to the fuselage of the Lo 100 for performance gliding. 15 units were built at Schempp-Hirth - most of them for customers abroad. Some of the Lo 150 were also made by amateur aircraft manufacturers. The exact number is unknown.

The wingspan of the aircraft is 15 m, the length of the fuselage 6.16 m. As with the Lo 100, the wing area is 10.90 m².

The slip ratio is given as 1:34. The sash has flaps that can be adjusted from –6 ° to + 45 °. In addition, spoilers are built into the wings, but these could only be extended from the top. As with the Lo 100, the tow coupling is designed as a side wall coupling.
