Lobala (ethnicity)

The Lobala are an ethnic group that is now mainly resident on both sides of the Ubangi in the northwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo as well as the northeastern Republic of the Congo . They are traditionally residents of the river and made their living from fishing , farming on the river banks and trading via the Ubangi and Congo rivers .
