Lockhart Ridge is a 6 km long ridge in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises along the southern flank of the Yeats Glacier to its confluence with the Shackleton Glacier .
The Texas Tech University crew to explore the Shackleton Glacier between 1964 and 1965 named him after Cadet Warrant Officer James J. Lockhart of the United States Army , pilot of the flight readiness for this crew.
