London Conference (1908–1909)

The international London conference (1908–1909) on the reform of naval law from December 4, 1908 to February 26, 1909 ended with the final “ London Declaration of the Law of the Sea ”. A ratification process by the participating states did not get under way afterwards, so the declaration never came into force.
