The Lonely Boys is a semi-fictional beat music band. She is the protagonist of the book De Ensamma Pojkarna by the Swedish rock and sports journalist Mats Olsson . The Lonely Boys album was recorded for a bonus CD for the first 2,000 copies of the book . The CD contained the fictional names from the book, but the identity of the musicians who are members of Gyllene Tider soon became known. Later the album and the single Flowers on the Moon were also released regularly.

Above all, the CD pays homage to English guitar pop of the mid-1960s, especially the Beatles and the Rolling Stones . The song So Much In Love is a cover song by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards , but it was never recorded by the Rolling Stones themselves.
