Lontong

Lontong is lumpy (pressed) rice (Indonesian: nasi impit ) wrapped in banana leaves and eaten cold . It is often served as a side dish with saté or gado-gado . A variant of Lontong provides for meat and vegetables - e.g. B. carrots, beans and potatoes - to process and offer.

Ketupat is rice cooked in palm leaves.
