Lord Cranstoun
Lord Cranstoun was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of Scotland .
Award and expiration
The title was on November 17, 1609 by King James VI. bestowed on the captain of his bodyguard, Sir William Cranstoun .
The title expired on the death of his great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson, the 11th Lord, on September 28, 1869.
