Lotos is a motorboat model from the GDR company PGH Müggelspree Berlin. The open five-seater pleasure boat was manufactured in the 1970s and 1980s in the types Lotos I and Lotos II. The body was made of glass fiber reinforced polyester. Initially, the 900 cm 3 two-stroke engine of the Wartburg car served as the drive , later the 1,000 cm 3 variant was installed. Some examples were equipped with reversing gears of the types LEWO (Lehmann Woltersdorf) or Lunze (Lunze Hainichen).
