Louis Lasky

Louis "Louie" Lasky was an American blues singer and guitarist.

Lasky accompanied Anna Lee Chisholm in 1924 ("Cool Kind Daddy Blues", Paramount 8076). Under his own name he recorded five tracks in Chicago in 1935, including "Caroline", "How You Want Your Rollin 'Done" and "Teasin' Brown Blues". He was also an accompanist for Big Bill Broonzy ("C and A Blues"), Memphis Minnie and Washboard Sam . His Flatpicking -Spielweise combined white country music and blues. His song "How You Want Your Rollin 'Done" was included in the anthology Times Ain't Like They Used to Be (1997).
