Lourdes grotto (Aletshausen)

The Lourdes grotto of Aletshausen is a listed Lourdes grotto on the south-eastern outskirts of Aletshausen .

In 1901 the parish looked hopefully towards the beginning of the 20th century and built a large covered grotto. The following inscription above the grotto can still be read today: "The beginning of the century the parish of Aletshausen consecrated the mother of our Savior, the Holy Virgin Mary". A way of the cross was laid out towards the grotto. After a good hundred years, the grotto, spring and the Way of the Cross in the shady grove form a natural sanctuary worth seeing.
