history

Love Shack first aired on November 19, 2007. Even before Love Shack, the topic of love was dealt with at GIGA. So in 2000 and 2001 on GIGA Heartbeat and most recently on the MyWorld program , which ran on the Love Shack slot until November 12, 2007.

construction

The show was dedicated to the topics of love, relationships, romance and sex. For this purpose, the program was divided into different categories. During “Amor und Psyche”, Susanne Bellenhaus and Sven Noremkemper talked to the community about love problems and advised the audience via forum and telephone. For this reason, the program was usually broadcast live so that there was a high level of interactivity between the audience and the broadcaster. In the “Handicraft” category, the audience was introduced to a job in the field of sexual services, for example working on a sex hotline. In every program, the “G-Punktet” quiz was played with members from the GIGA community. In addition, a “single of the week” was presented in each program.

Studio

Love Shack was produced in the Cologne studios of GIGA Digital Television GmbH . The set of the show was mainly designed in red. On a brick wall in the background were four plasma monitors on which the program logo could be seen.
