Lack of lubrication

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lack of lubrication is the sexology expression for the lack of vaginal fluid . Lack of lubrication is a sexual dysfunction of women characterized by the lack or absence of secretion of transudate during sexual intercourse . Coitus pain or vaginismus are not infrequently unpleasant consequences. Possible reasons can be: Disruption of the excitement phase as a result of hormonal disorders ( lack of estrogen ), for example due to menopause or as a result of psychological inhibitions. The former can usually be remedied with medical preparations; for the latter, psycho - or sexual therapy is usually recommended. Slight, temporary lubrication problems can usually be easily compensated for by using lubricants such as lubricating gel or oil.
