Zsuzsa Koncz
Zsuzsa Koncz (born March 7, 1946 in Pély ) is a Hungarian chanson, hit and pop singer who also appeared in German-speaking countries under the names Shusha Koncz and Jana Koncz in the 1970s.
After graduating from high school, Zsuzsa Koncz studied law (master’s degree) and performed parallel to this from 1963 as a singer, first with the group Metro . After a first single in 1966, she won several hit competitions and was able to sell over a million copies of her first five long-playing records; the compositions mostly came from members of the Hungarian bands Fonográf and Illés .
With the band Illés, Zsuzsa Koncz and the Klaus Renft Combo played the German-language soundtrack to DEFA's youth and music film, which was shot in the GDR, in 1973. Still too skinny for love? a.
