Lucius Tanicius Verus

Lucius Tanicius Verus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription found at Bar Hill and dated 142/200 shows that Verus was prefect . According to John Spaul , he was prefect of the Cohors I Baetasiorum , which was stationed in the province of Britannia .
