Ludwig Bernhardt
Ludwig Bernhardt (around 1865 - after 1902) was an opera singer ( tenor ).
Life
Bernhardt began his stage career in the late 1880s, worked in Elberfeld in 1890 and 1891, then came to Wiesbaden, was engaged in Sondershausen in 1893 and 1894, and then joined the association of the court theater in Coburg-Gotha. He represented the subject of the hero tenor and brought him his strong, well-trained voice that betrayed him, like a corresponding game adapted to the situation, many a fine success. “Tannhäuser”, “Tristan”, “Stolzing”, “Vasco”, “Florestan” etc. were repeatedly recognized and honored achievements.
His life after 1902 is unknown.
