The air raid on the Gestapo headquarters in Oslo (1944) was flown on December 31, 1944 with twelve De Havilland DH.98 Mosquitos of the Royal Air Force (RAF) to the Gestapo headquarters in Oslo , which was located in the Victoria Terrasse building complex . Only the first six aircraft dropped their bombs, while the second attack wave could no longer attack due to poor visibility from the explosions. Victoria Terrace remained undamaged, but a bomb hit a fully occupied tram. A total of 78 Norwegians and 27 Germans were killed in the attack.
