Air spirit
An air spirit is a mythological being ( nature spirit ) and is the elemental spirit of the air .
Well-known air spirits are:
- Ariel , a fictional character in Shakespeare's The Tempest , Goethe's Faust II and Alexander Pope's The Rape of Locke (Rape of the Lock )
An earth spirit (for example dwarf , gnome ), on the other hand, is the counterpart on earth.
According to classical European ideas, there are other nature spirits, namely fire spirits and water spirits .
