An airborne rescue station (LLRs; engl. : Airborne mobile aid station ) is a mobile air-transportable medical device of the German Federal Armed Forces , of the forces of the medical service of the armed force army and in the Central Medical the army by the command Fast forces medical service is used.

The entire facility can be air-loaded and air-loaded. Parts of the equipment can be set down with cargo parachutes. The medium-sized transport helicopter MTH CH-53 is intended for the transport . An airborne rescue center will be set up in two inflatable tents. Power is supplied by an electricity generator. The airborne rescue station can be made ready for operation within 30 minutes; the device is fully operational after a total of one hour and can then be operated independently for up to 24 hours.

General and emergency medical care, including surgical wound treatment ( treatment level 1), takes place in the airborne rescue stations . Two emergency workplaces and two ambulance workplaces are available for this. The main focus of the treatment lies in the qualified maintenance of the vital functions by means of modern emergency medical procedures as well as the production of the wounded transportability. A bed ward is therefore not part of the package.
