Luis Denis , full name Luis María Denis , (* 19th or 20th century) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

Midfielder Denis played at club level at least 1935 and 1937 to 1938 for the Montevideo Wanderers in the Primera División .

National team

Denis was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed seven international matches between August 15, 1934 and July 18, 1940. He did not score an international goal. He was part of the Uruguayan squad at the South American Championship in 1935 , when Uruguay won the title. There he was used in the encounters with Peru, Chile and Argentina. Also in 1935 he took part in the Copa Hector Gomez with Uruguay .
