history
In 1980 the pharmacist Karlheinz Ilius opened the Luitpold pharmacy in Bad Steben. The online mail order business was launched in 2004 with the webshop medikamente-per-klick.de. Due to the increasing demand and the associated space requirements, the internet pharmacy moved to larger premises in Selbitz just three years later. In 2012 there was finally a changeover to a new merchandise management system with an automation system.
Today, according to the company, 17,000 parcels are sent every day. In addition to prescription and non-prescription drugs, medical products, dietary supplements, cosmetics and products for animal health can also be found in the range of the online pharmacy.
The pharmacy is a member of the Federal Association of German Mail Order Pharmacies .
