Lutz Hofmann (born September 4, 1966 ) is a former German soccer player.

Career

The striker Lutz Hofmann came from VfR Bürstadt to Bundesliga relegated SV Waldhof Mannheim in 1990 via the stations Wormatia Worms and VfR Mannheim . In two seasons Hofmann was used there in 52 league games as well as in four games of the DFB Cup . He scored a total of ten goals for the blue-blacks. In 1992 he moved to SV Mörlenbach where he ended his career. Hofmann then became a player-coach at TSG Pfeddersheim and for three months at Wormatia Worms.
