The Luxor Theater in Rotterdam opened on the Kruiskade in 1917.

Old Luxor Theater

The luxury cinema, designed by architect Pieter Vermaas in 1917, has become the ultimate entertainment theater in Rotterdam. In 1974 it was converted into a theater with 909 seats, including 118 cozy cozy seats. Renovated in 2014, it is now a platform for comedy talent, intimate concerts and beautiful stage productions.

New Luxor Theater

In 2001 a new Luxor theater was built on the Southbank near the Erasmus Bridge according to plans by Peter Wilson .
