MÁV series 499

Several locomotives of the Hungarian state railways Magyar Államvasutak - MÁV from various manufacturers in Bosnian gauge with D wheel arrangement were included in the MÁV class 499 .

  • The locomotive with the serial number 001 was manufactured by MÁVAG , Budapest , in 1899 and was in service on the Harbachtalbahn .
  • Three locomotives with the serial numbers 101-103 were manufactured by BMAG in Berlin in 1923 and were originally used by the CFR . They came to the MÁV in 1940.
  • Three locomotives with the serial numbers 201–203 were manufactured by Krauss in Linz in 1928 . The locomotives were originally used by private railways and came to the MÁV in 1941.
  • The locomotive with the serial number 251 came from Krauss in Linz and was used by a forest company in Lemberg . The locomotive came to the MÁV in 1941.

In 1974 all locomotives were taken out of service.
