MAK / Supergun

MAK / Supergun is a device or adapter that makes it possible to play original arcade circuit boards (PCB) on a TV set. MAK = Mega Arcade Console. A MAK is not an intelligent device. The entire intelligence such as microchips or image output is attached to the arcade circuit board.

MAK area of ​​application

The MAK / Supergun is required to play an arcade system board without an arcade machine . In the MAK, the signals from the arcade circuit board are processed in such a way that it is possible to play arcade games with a joystick ( Neo-Geo standard) and a television set.

MAK types

Various MAK systems are now available. These range from simple devices that are plugged directly onto the arcade circuit boards, to luxury versions with many additional options. There are some providers who build a complete arcade joystick into the MAK; the MAK only needs to be plugged into the circuit board and the desired game can be started immediately.

MAK systems can be purchased from special arcade dealers or, for example, from internet auctions. The prices differ in height depending on the model and available options.
