MC Spontan is an MC from Gelsenkirchen . He had made a name for himself in Germany as a freestyle great before he released his debut album Greatest Hits 2000-2003 on Headrush Records in 2003.

Then he switched to Optik Records with his regular table colleague SD, where he could only be heard with one track each on two EPs released by SD and the SPSD single with the track VIP . The two have since separated from Optik Rec.
