MOF Model to Text Transformation Language

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The MOF Model to Text Transformation Language ( Mof2Text or MOFM2T ) is a standard of the Object Management Group (OMG) for describing transformations (conversions) of MOF -based models (e.g. UML , SysML etc.) into text. MOFM2T is thus a model transformation language for formulating M2T transformations. An example of such a transformation is the generation of program code from a UML model. Version 1.0 of the language specification is currently available. Within the specification, the language is also referred to as MOF to Text Template Language .

Implementations

A first implementation of the standard is the Acceleo tool , which is created in the context of the Eclipse framework.
