GNU MPFR is a portable C library for calculating with floating point numbers of any precision and correct rounding , based on the GNU Multiple Precision Arithmetic Library . It also allows (e.g. in the GCC compiler ) the evaluation of mathematical expressions (such as ) at compile time .
