MPSI (class)

The MPSI is an orientation train for the first year of post- graduate science classes in France .

It is a shortening of: Mathematics - Physics - Engineering (SI in French ).

Students have a week

  • twelve hours of math
  • six hours of physics
  • two hours of chemistry
  • two hours of engineering (SI)
  • two hours of French philosophy
  • two hours of foreign language (course in French)
  • one hour of computer science
  • four hours of class work
  • two hours of oral examination
  • TIPE ( Travaux d'initiative personnelle encadrés  = work framed by personal impetus) in the 2nd semester
  • two hours of sport, SI, LV or one hour of computer science as an elective.
