The MRVZN Brauel is a forensic clinic in the Brauel district of the city of Zeven in the Rotenburg district , about 60 kilometers southwest of Hamburg. It is one of three locations of the MRVZN .

history

After the establishment in July 1981, the first patient admission took place in October 1981.

The women's ward was established in 2011.

In August 2014, an inmate escaped by climbing over the barbed wire fence. In 2015, five offenders escaped through the back gate; they were arrested a day later.

Facility

The clinic has 130 places. The average treatment time for patients is around two years; 70 to 80 patients are admitted to the hospital annually. Jens Betker is the administrative director.
