Ma'aza

The ma'aza ( Arabic المعازة, DMG al-Ma'āza ) are a nomadic tribe in the Eastern Desert in Egypt . They live mainly north of Al-Quseir and Qift . They immigrated from Sinai around 1700 and displaced the local Ababda in the north of their settlement area around 1805.
