Maarten Steinkamp
Maarten Steinkamp (* 1962 ) is a Dutch music producer who sat as a jury member in the German casting show My Name Is next to pop singer Michelle and model Alessandra Pocher in 2011 and 2012 .
Life
Steinkamp was born in the Netherlands in 1962. In 1988 he started his career after studying at BMG Netherlands. In 1995 he became General Manager and 1997 Managing Director at BMG Benelux. Six years later Steinkamp became President International and a member of the BMG Board of Directors. After the merger of Sony and BMG, he took over the management as President Sony BMG Continental Europe and Chairman & CEO Sony BMG Germany. In 2008 Steinkamp left the company. He has been a partner at CNR Entertainment since 2011. In the same year Steinkamp sat on the jury of the RTL II show "My Name Is" for the first time.
