Madfaa
The Madfaa is to be seen as a forerunner of today's modern firearms . It is an Arab weapon, which consisted of a thick-walled wooden pot with handles, which was filled with gunpowder . The top of the pot was closed with a round stone and the charge was ignited through an opening on the side through a burning fuse .
