Magendie is the family name of the following people:
- François Magendie (1783–1855), French physician, including physiologist and pharmacologist
- Jean-Jacques Magendie (1766–1835), officer in the French Navy
- Maurice Magendie (1884–1944), French Romance studies and literary scholar
