Malpartida is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Almeida . 172 inhabitants lived in the community (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Malpartida and Vale de Coelha were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Malpartida e Vale de Coelha . Malpartida is the seat of this newly formed community.
The Vale de Coelha with the rock tomb necropolis is near the village.
