Manschia

The Mandschias (fr. Mandjias , Mandjas or Manya's called) are a people of the Central African Republic , where 274,000 Mandschias make up the third largest nation 13% of the population.

Several thousand Manschias, a total of 8,300, also live in Cameroon, Central Africa .

They speak the Niger-Congo language Manza . In politically important times (especially during wars and conflicts), the leaders of the ethnic group can be elected by various regional bosses.

More strongly represented in Central Africa, they are often associated with the Gbaya .

The former Prime Minister of the Central African Republic, Élie Doté , was a Manchia.
