Mangaroca Batida de Côco
Mangaroca Batida de Côco is a coconut liqueur based on an original Brazilian recipe with 16% alcohol and known under the marketing term "The Kiss of the Coconut ".
It has been manufactured since 1976 and has been on the German market since 1978. Today Mangaroca Batida de Côco is available in over 20 countries worldwide. Thanks to its high mixability, the coconut liqueur can be enjoyed pure on ice, as a cocktail or as a long drink, for example mixed with passion fruit or cherry juice.
history
In the 1970s, employees of the Italian distillery "Buton SPA" recognized the potential of the typical Batida on a business trip to Brazil . Fascinated by the drink, they introduced Batida de Côco to the European market. In 1980 Giovanni Sassoli de Bianchi, one of the Buton descendants, founded Mangaroca International AG: Mangaroca Batida de Côco was born. The brand has belonged to the Henkell & Co. Group since 2017 and is marketed by it worldwide.
