Marco Laping (born February 14, 1978 in Bad Dürkheim ) is a former German soccer player who played in both midfield and defense.

Career

In the summer of 2007, Marco Laping moved free of charge from 1. FC Saarbrücken to the then top division club SV Waldhof Mannheim . With today's fourth division he had a contract until 2011, which was dissolved on November 30, 2010 due to differences of opinion with the coach. Before that he played for FK Pirmasens and 1. FC Saarbrücken. He played a total of 93 games for Saarbrücken, 42 of them in the 2nd Bundesliga. In doing so, he scored a hit. Since the second half of the 2010/11 season, Marco Laping has been the player-coach (assistant coach) at the association league club FC Arminia Ludwigshafen 03. At the end of the season, Marco Laping ended his playing career to devote himself to his coaching position.
