Marco Scurria

Marco Scurria (born May 18, 1967 in Rome ) is an Italian politician of the Popolo della Libertà .

Life

Scurria graduated from high school in Rome in 1985 and began studying political science at La Sapienza University , which he graduated in 1991. From 2004 to 2006 he was a member of the National Council of the Permanent Forum of the Tertiary Sector. Since 2004 he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Company for Private Pension Services. Between 2005 and 2006 Scurria was in charge of the secretariat of the Presidency of the XVIII. Permanent Council Commission of the Lazio Region. He has been a member of the Drugs Expert Council of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers since 2005. Since 2009 he has also been a consultant in the Italian Ministry of Youth for the areas of social affairs, voluntary services and civil protection. From 2006 to 2008 he was a member of the National Assembly for the Alleanza Nazionale (AN). Scurria has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
