Marcus Antonius Pilatus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated September 24, 151 shows that Pilate 151 was the commander of the Ala I Hispanorum Aravacorum , which at that time was stationed in the Pannonia superior province .
