Marcus Milonius Verus Junianus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marcus Milonius Verus Iunianus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 1st century AD .

A military diploma dated June 18, 54, shows that Iunianus 54 was commander of the Ala Gallorum et Thracum Antiana , which was stationed in the province of Syria at the time; the leadership of this unit is likely to have been his third military command within the Tres militiae . Iunianus probably came from Italy.
