from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Peducaeus Marcianus (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated March 7, 160, shows that Marcianus was 160 commander of the Ala Antiana Gallorum et Thracum sagittaria , which at that time was stationed in the province of Syria Palestine ; the leadership of this unit is likely to have been his third military command within the Tres militiae .
