Margules equation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Margules equation (after Max Margules ) is a model of technical chemistry that correlates the activity coefficients γ 1 and γ 2 with the mole fractions x 1 and x 2 , which describe the composition of a binary chemical mixture :

A 12 and A 21 are parameters that can be adapted to the activity coefficient .
