Marie-Elizabeth Cléry

Marie-Elizabeth Cléry (or Duverge-Cléry ), née Du Verger or Du Verge (* 1761 , † after 1795 ), was a French harpist and composer.

Life

She was probably born in Paris and was a harpist at the court of Marie Antoinette . After her marriage to Jean-Baptiste Cant-Hanet dit Cléry, she published three sonatas for violin with harp accompaniment in 1785.
