The building with the postal address Marienchorstraße 1 is a listed building in Marienchorstraße in Stralsund , on the corner of Frankenwall .

The two-storey plastered building has a single-axis narrow side to Marienchorstrasse and a five-axis long side; a courtyard building forms the end of the property to the Frankenwall. Both buildings are essentially medieval , but have been changed several times. The extension built on the Stralsund city wall is half- timbered; the upper floor protrudes slightly.

House No. 1 was originally a semi-detached house with Marienchorstrasse 2 .

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 499.
