Den Helder naval base
The Den Helder naval base is a Dutch naval base of the Koninklijke Marine in Den Helder . The Nieuwe Haven was built with a decision from 1947 and has been the main base of the Royal Navy since 1954.
The local naval museum Den Helder at the old port , which has served as a location since the early days of the Dutch Kingdom, presents the history of the Dutch navy .
